My 2023 Predictions

Every year, I am asked by a local TV station to produce my list of predictions for the year ahead. The show usually airs in the first week of December and I often get a lot of positive feedback from it, so this year I decided to blog about it. Mostly so I can share it with a wider audience.

As a Psychic, it is one of the most vulnerable things one can do, to make your predictions public. But what I have come to learn over the years is that by keeping small and to myself, I do not serve anyone but myself. I will often research the insight I get. Mostly because sometimes it is far-fetched even for me to accept. I am always blown away by the evidence I discover along the way. There is also no rhyme or reason to what I home in on, it varies every year.

Hollywood
  • I keep seeing Kanye West or Ye as he is now known with a gun. I feel there is an unfortunate situation about to unfold there.
  • I am also concerned about Cher and Dolly Parton’s health.
  • There will be significant loss of life in older female musicians I see the number 3
World Climate
  • We will discover cellphones are one of the major links to the world heating up so rapidly. Those in power already know this but “minimize” it because the emissions are so low per phone, only 2 watts of radiation per phone. However, after researching this a little deeper, I have discovered that 90% of the world’s population now carries a cell phone. That is a significant amount of radiation omitted worldwide when you do the calculations. I also discovered that phones emit radiation even when they are turned off because they are always communicating with cell towers. The number I calculated is 15 billion watts of radiation daily. I came to this number after I googled how many people are in the world divided by 90%. If there are 7.837 Billion people in the world, 90% is still over 7 billion, then x 2 watts. The good news on this is that new technology will be implemented to thwart the radiation by the end of 2023 to help with this issue.
  • Canada’s northern ice shield becomes less frozen leaving us vulnerable in the north this will encourage a call to look at newer weapons and a new air base to protect our North.
  • Ice shield in the north and south pole continues to melt but a significant break in the arctic will have the world watching near Russia.
  • Large oil spill near the Arctic.
  • Volcanoes in Japan and Italy create chaos in those parts of the world.
  • Devastating storms in the Caribbean, Bahamas and Jamaica affected.
  • Mudslide in Venezuela near Caracas causing widespread mayhem.
  • Environmental tragedy feels like a chemical spill or leak around Manitoba toward Hudson’s Bay.
US Politics
  • USA – still don’t feel good about Biden finishing his term in office.
  • Trump will be charged and will see bars for things we are yet to even know about. He won’t be accepted as the GOP Candidate.
  • Kari Lake, the GOP running who just lost the Arizona race who had a white substance delivered via an envelope to her headquarters, will be found responsible for sending it to herself/staff to deflect her crude remarks about the attack on The House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband.
  • In all, people will be tired of people being rude to others and this will no longer be tolerable in politics for 2023.  Trump will take things to an all-time low.
Canadian Politics
  • New light shed on past “Conservative government” roles in indigenous affairs concerning loss or missing women. They knew more and did less. This will create quite a stir and will encourage an early election in 2024.  We will learn of some people high up shutting things down knowing affecting the rights of the indigenous peoples.
  • Next federal election is called early by the end of 2023 to be held in 2024 in the same year Trudeau will leave his party as leader due to a minor scandal.
  • The Conservative leader Poilievre, gets a lot of unwanted attention near the end of the year, making him an unpopular choice due to his actions and past behaviors.
  • Both major parties will have new leadership.
Russian Conflict with Ukraine
  • Both sides gain and then lose ground, the winter is going to really hit the Ukrainians harder than expected. It will look as if all is lost for the Ukrainians, but they bounce back and as a result, Russians will take a heavy beating. This is a long war that will not end for years to come. But India and or Pakistan step in to support peace talks and become the heroes needed to calm the friction there.
  • Russia’s economy hits an all-time low around June!
  • Putin is at risk of being ousted in June and will suffer illness (possibly Covid or poisoning), but the world will think he is dead. He will reappear almost a month later.
Worldly Issues
  • North Korea continues posturing throughout 2023, China securely in bed with them and also Iran. It will become very apparent in 2023 where the line in the sand is drawn.
  • China faces world shunning as a result of their behavior towards North America. China to target USA and Canada to create trade chaos
  • UK to be hit with a hard-faced recession, one that affects children the most. There will be wide-spread poverty. This comes on the heels of a “2 or 3 days” power outage like the one experienced in North America in Aug of 2003. And like that power outage, the UK will experience it in August.
  • There will be a high level of shortages in food and household supplies. So, start stocking up on supplies and food in Jan & Feb. This is really a worldwide thing
Covid
  • This winter will be the worst for the children worldwide. Between Covid and RSV, I am gravely concerned for children of all ages. Covid returns with a vengeance in March around the full moon which is the 7th or 8th.  We will see numbers that 1 in 5 will be catching it, overwhelming the whole world again. However, there will not be any shutdowns and we will have to learn to live with it, like we do with the flu. Those who smoke will be the most affected as the new strain targets the lungs once again. So, quit now is my advice for those who smoke. The year 2023 will be the first with the least amount of people world-wide smoke cigarettes.
The Cure is Found
  • UV light will be the universal cure. Everywhere we go, will have HEPA filtration systems with UV lights.  But this will not be mandated. Those that don’t get on board will be shunned. I don’t see this fully operational in 2023 because humans are so slow to react. We are like a bunch of ostriches with our heads in the sand, hoping it will pass.

On a positive note, 2023 will usher in a revolutionary energy, intolerant of negative behavior as people have grown tired of this and we will also see this create a significant change in the way we do business. Expect an evolution in big industry!

10 Tips to Master Journaling

Journaling has become a buzzword, but there is no surprise as to why! Keeping a journal holds many benefits, from reducing stress to connecting with your intuition. Writing is a great way to encourage self-awareness, as well as to regulate your emotions and gain clarity. With all these benefits, why are people afraid to journal?

The action of journaling can be strange or scary for some people. If you’re not a huge fan of writing or don’t feel the “creative juices flowing” it’s easy to get discouraged. Here are some ways you can overcome that fear and become a journal master!

1. Find a medium

Journaling doesn’t have to be in a notebook, hidden under lock & key. Yes, some people prefer keeping a locked notebook when they journal, but that’s not the only option! If you are looking for inspiration you could get a big, beautiful notebook from Chapters/Indigo, or if money is tight, a small but colourful composition notebook from the dollar store will do the trick. If writing by hand isn’t you thing, consider keeping a virtual journal on your phone, laptop, or tablet! The notes app on your phone will work just fine, and it’s accessible for on-the-go journaling.

2. Write every day

The best way to get into journaling is to ensure you are writing every day. I know this can sound daunting but I promise it’s not! The more we practice something and commit to a routine, the better we get at it. Take a look at your existing routine (or take this as an opportunity to create one!) and make time to journal. Depending on how adventurous you’re feeling you can allot yourself 15 minutes for a quick journal entry and reflection, or if you want a challenge, try journaling for an hour. I encourage you to start small and don’t get overwhelmed! This is all about baby-steps.

3. Simplify it

A problem many people face when they start journaling is they feel there is an expectation to write a novel every time they put pen to paper. That’s just not true! Journaling should be a judgement free zone where you can write without any expectations. If you are feeling too much pressure, create a bullet journal instead! Jot down points of how you’re feeling, key information about something that happened, or simply things you want to remember to write about next time you’re feeling up to it!

4. Start with a “stream of consciousness”

Another way we can simplify our journal is to write a “stream of consciousness”. This is a practice where the writer is putting their inner monologue to paper. Use this opportunity to take all your distracting thoughts and capture them in your journal. With this practice you don’t have to worry about grammar, spelling, or even making sense! This is just a way to release the jumble of thoughts that are going on in your mind, so of course this type of journaling will not be linear. This practice also helps us remember to write freely, as no one has to see our journal except us!

5. Get creative

Journaling provides us with an opportunity to get creative! If bullet journals and “stream of consciousness” writing isn’t for you, try allowing for some creativity by using a scrapbook style journal with photos and artwork. You can also try journaling about a song you’ve been listening to lately, write your emotions out in the form of a story book or poem, write about your dreams, or even try doing video journals! There are numerous journals available for purchase too if you’re looking for something really different.

6. Release judgement

Journaling is only successful if you can pour your heart and soul out, and that only happens when we let go and release judgement. Fear of our thoughts and feelings, or fear of what others will think of our thoughts and feelings, can hold us back and take control over who we are. Journaling helps us embrace our authentic selves and understand our shadow self. When journaling, make your space safe and comforting. Find a quiet space where you don’t have to worry about others seeing what you write in your journal. Journaling is something that can absolutely be shared, but that’s not a requirement. You are in control of your journaling and you can share it with the world or keep it to yourself, so long as you let go of judgement and connect to your authentic self.

7. Cultivate gratitude

Gratitude is a great way to promote healing, happiness, and general well-being. When we reflect on what we are grateful for we become more resilient and feel more connected to ourselves and our community. In your journal, try to reflect each day on 3 things you are grateful for. It could be something major, like a job promotion, or a mindful moment like drinking a hot coffee in the morning. Whatever you are feeling gratitude for, note it down. This helps your brain remember all the good thing in life and will encourage positivity when feeling worn down by stress, anxiety, and depression.

8. Change your scenery

If you’re feeling a lot of mental blocks when writing, try changing the scenery! If you always journal in your office, take a walk first and then write. Alternatively, bring your notebook with you and find a nice, quiet space on a trail or park to journal. Go for a road trip to somewhere new, park, and write about how you feel about this new space. Even going to a coffee shop or library will activate your brain and allow for creativity to flow.

9. Use prompts

There are going to be days where you don’t know what to write about. You’ve tried to do a “stream of consciousness”, tried going for a walk, etc. and yet nothing is working. This can be frustrating! Use this opportunity to use journaling prompts. Here are a few to get you going:

What emotions are coming up for you today?
What would your perfect day look like?
What book/song is your favourite? Why?
Describe your favourite place.
What are your goals for the future?

10. New Perspective

If you’re feeling creative and want to try something new, or maybe need a boost, try journaling in the third person. If there is something that is causing you stress or if you’re feeling down, write as if you’re talking to a friend who is experiencing those same emotions. What would you tell them? How would you support them? Sometimes thinking outside the box can really help!

Top 5 Most Important Manifestation Tips

If you have yet to read the book or watch the movie “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne let me preface this blog by saying, go do that immediately. Especially if you desire a change in your life and or feel restricted by some physical or emotional challenge. It was probably the most important clarity I ever received when it came to awareness of what I was asking in my life. But more importantly how to go about getting it.

If like me, you have felt stuck in a rut, repeating old patterns of negative behavior, or simply had no idea that you could change your life completely, or towards a positive way of thinking and being! All by simply changing your thoughts. You really need to learn the art of manifesting in your life. Allow me to let you in on my top five tips for manifesting your ‘heart’s truest desires”.

What Do You Want? Clarity is Key!

Without clarity of what you really want in life, you will not be able to seize what your hearts desires are. Simply because without direction you will be like the 98% of the world whose lives revolve around their work, home life and family. The other 2% get it and create action plans in their lives, they know what they want, and they set themselves up for success simply just by doing so!  The interesting thing about that 2%, is they are the wealthiest and most content humans.

So, if you want to join the 2% group you are going to need to make a few changes. But here is the cavoite, it’s just not that hard! Dare I say almost like having an easy button in life!

Before you do anything else sit quietly and contemplate what it is you want in your life right now. In can be anything from small or trivial to vast and out of this world. When I teach about manifesting, I always share that in order for the Universe to serve up your true hearts-desire it needs a little forethought from you. Without you steering your destiny you will be taking detour after detour searching for god knows what? Only to discover pain, discomfort and most of all frustration that you are not moving in the direction your want to. So, it is time for you to get really clear on what it is you want.

Make a list, then review the list and get clearer on each of your desires. For example: you might say “I want to make more money”! Here is the challenge with that statement if you leave the manifestation there the Universe will say ok let’s bring many opportunities to them. But you might pass on those opportunities all because they do not appeal to you.

So, this is where you need clarity. I want to find a better job in “insert your desire here”.

I am talking about real clarity something like this: I wish to be promoted to executive director with in the next 3 months and earn $100,000 or more salary with 6 weeks paid vacation.

It is always about the clarity!

Zero Attachments to The Preferred Outcome!

By zero attachments to the preferred outcome, I mean you must first release yourself from any obligation of how this will pan out for you. This is not an easy part of the manifestation process because as humans we naturally default to controlling our desires. We start to visualize how these manifestations will find us. Or even worse sometimes we will quash a desire because we cannot see a way for it to materialize. This is when we literally shut down our dream team of manifestation elves. We fall into the “I am not worthy of this” phase that many of us do when we try to manifest our hearts desire. Now for the record there are not really little elves working in the background creating opportunity for you. However, this is just one of the ways I have visualized this part of the process so that I can stop myself from ruining my manifestation. I imagine the sad, defeated little faces of the manifestation elves every time I short-change myself on one of my heart desires. If I can see the disappointment in their little faces, I can stop myself from wanting to control the outcome and trust that they have my back.

This may not work for you but please do your best to come up with a strategy that does so that you can stop yourself from sabotaging your manifestations before they have a chance to materialize.

Embrace The Setbacks – They Are A Part of The Plan!

This is tough, because we immediately default to “Well, I guess that is not going to work out for me. We can convince ourselves that maybe I was overreaching a little bit too much and or maybe I don’t deserve that yet. These are all ludicrous thoughts. I need you to know that no matter who you are, where you are from, your background, or social status, it does not matter.

You have just as much opportunity in manifesting your heart’s desires as the next guy. However, there can be delays sometimes. Do not ever despair! This does not mean you do not deserve it yet; all this means is that the universe is working out the very best outcome for you and if there is a delay it will always be in your best interest.

Perhaps the set back is a way to bring you something you have desired and forgotten all about. This reminds me of my vacation to Nova Scotia. I ended up in hospital partially paralyzed after catching COVID. It took me about two days to get a grip on myself but once I did, I realized this might be one of my manifestations.

You see I had been asking Doctor’s here in Ontario for over 20 years for a Lyme’s test only to be told no repeatedly because it won’t work, or they are too expensive I even offered to pay for it. My health had been getting worse by the day and then I find myself in a bed not able to move my legs and at the mercy of new doctors while on vacation in Nova Scotia.

I told them that I had been asking doctors to test me for Lyme’s for over 20 years in Ontario, and they didn’t hesitate. They gave me the test, along with about 10 other different things they thought it could be one by one each of those others were ruled out and while we waited on the Lyme’s test, they came to the conclusion after everything else had been ruled out, I was suffering from chronic Lyme’s disease.

They started me on a medication and within 24 hours, I started to regain use of my limbs and other parts of my body. You see, the Universe plotted for me to catch COVID to cause this partial paralyzing and to have me hospitalized in another province where they have done extensive study in Lyme’s disease.

This way I would get the medicine I truly needed to start healing. It was all part of the plan! Think back on events in your life that felt like the rug was being pulled out from under your feet, only to end up serving your greater good! An example may have been a job loss that ended up being the best thing that could have happened to you!

Pay Attention to Your Inner Dialogue!

We can shut stuff down pretty quickly with our inner dialogue. If you start out by saying; “I have trying manifesting and it never works for me”, well in a nutshell, you are right! Remember it is the belief in something that makes it real.

Going back to my experience in the hospital in Nova Scotia, I defaulted to the woe is me or aka “victim energy” when I first lost the use of my legs and one arm. In fact, I cried for two days until I finally got fed up with myself and realized the only control, I actually had in that moment was my reaction to it. Until I figured that out, I was living in fear which we all know is “False Evidence Appearing Real”.

So, I had no choice but to start cleaning up my thoughts of victim energy and inject dialogue towards what I could control on a day-to-day basis. The key was getting clear and concise on what to do next, what questions to ask next. It is imperative that you maintain your belief in the thing you desire and then you must maintain your thoughts on that desire. You see, the very thing I desired was to get to the root of my health concerns. And when it showed up like this, I was taken back by it. Of course, who wouldn’t be, but because of my mindfulness and inner dialogue practicing. I came to that awareness I needed too fairly quickly in the journey. You will too with some practice.

An Attitude of Gratitude!

Your attitude towards gratitude is going to either set you up for success or failure on this journey of manifesting your hearts desires. Showing gratitude for the things you already have is the quickest way to see how far you have to go to tackle this one. Having gratitude for the small things in life is going to inspire you to be more grateful for the simple and dare I say the right things in life.

Sure, we all desire materialistic things and financial freedom however if you live in home with running water. You are already a wealthier person than most other humans on the planet. According to The World Health Organization, 1 in 3 people globally do not have access to safe drinking water. You need to see how good you have it so that you can prioritize your manifestations and accept your worthiness.

Seeing gratitude in the simple things allows you to quickly find that space or energetic vibration of gratitude. I must warn you though. Once you master gratitude, it is going to be really hard to be around those who have not mastered this awareness. For them, you must practice patience and share your wisdom in hopes that they too find their way to manifesting their hearts desires too. Changing the way, you see the world is your way of making impacting changes to it.
